The Long Island Rail Road has resumed normal eastbound and westbound service to and from Penn Station. Customers were advised to anticipate some delays and cancellations due to the earlier service suspension.
Earlier switching problems caused major headaches for LIRR commuters.
It wasn't just LIRR that faced problems. Both NJ TRANSIT and Amtrak trains into and out of Penn Station were also stifled. Service, though, did resume earlier Wednesday with delays.
