NJ TRANSIT Letting You Buy Meadowlands Rail Tickets Online
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) - These days you can buy just about anything online and now that includes NJ TRANSIT train tickets.

A new pilot program begins this weekend and is limited to trips from New York Penn Station to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
Spokeswoman Nancy Snyder said it will be a handy tool for Jets and Giants fans.
"We're making it easier by letting them really purchase and print their special train tickets online in advance right from the convenience of their own home," she told WCBS 880 reporter Jim Smith.
To purchase tickets, go to www.njtransit.com and, under Ticket Options, select Meadowlands Ticketing.
There's no extra fee to buy online. Just show your print out to a conductor and then scan the barcode to transfer in Secaucus.
"And if it goes well, we'll we're perhaps gonna be expanding this in other areas of our service," Synder said.
