NJ Transit Bus Driver Found Dead Inside Idling Bus At Port Authority Terminal
NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) - Authorities are looking into a disturbing incident that took place at the Port Authority terminal in New York City.
An NJ Transit bus with a dead driver in it idled there for almost five hours Thursday.
A passenger found Thomas Truex slumped in a passenger seat on board the bus. The bus was parked in a spot where drivers take coffee or bathroom breaks.
Truex drove a bus for 26 years. Authorities started looking for him when he didn't return to the Meadowlands garage on time.
His death isn't considered suspicious.
