So, people probably won't have a problem complying with a request from the MVC.
They don't want people to make too big a smile when posing for a new driver's license photo.
This is because of new facial recognition technology being used by the MVC.
"A very exaggerated 'Hey. I just won the lottery.' smile could affect the facial recognition ability to detect facial features," MVC spokesman Mike Horan told WCBS 880 reporter Levon Putney.
However, he noted that they aren't looking for frowns.
"As I can attest to, even on my own driver license, I am smiling," he said.
