NJ Man Accused Of Strangling Woman
CARTERET, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A New Jersey man charged with strangling his live-in companion is awaiting extradition from New York City.
Police on Tuesday arrested Shawn Humphrey at Penn Station one day after 32-year-old Dana Ciccilella was found dead in their Carteret home.
Humphrey also was charged with hindering his own apprehension by preventing the woman's children from entering her bedroom.
Humphrey's bail was set at $2 million.
It was not known whether the 36-year-old has retained a lawyer.
