NJ Gov. Chris Christie To Co-Host WFAN's Boomer & Carton Show Friday
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- First it was former New York Governor David Paterson guest hosting on WFAN. On Friday morning, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will step up to the mic.
Christie, a frequent caller to the Boomer & Carton program, will talk sports and take calls alongside Craig Carton from 6-10 a.m.
"Big shoes to fill tomorrow morning with Boomer Esiason out for the day," said WFAN operations manager Mark Chernoff. "Should be lots of fun!"
"It's a big get right? He and I have been friends for a long time, although he doesn't admit that anymore," Carton joked on Thursday.

Christie, a die-hard Mets fan, knows his stuff. Just take a look at his early-season assessment of the Amazin's.
"There will be moments when they'll be really good, and we're going to feel momentarily excited," Christie said at a press conference last month. "And then there are going to be seven- or eight-game losing streaks where we're not going to want to turn the TV on."
The governor also puts on his rooting cap for the Knicks, Rangers and... the Dallas Cowboys?
"Believe me, it doesn't get me anything political around here because the Giants fans hate me, the Eagles fans hate me, it doesn't matter," he told the Newark Star-Ledger in a lengthy sports-related interview last June. "But you grow up rooting for a team. That's just the way it works."
