New Yorkers To Bike For Boston In TD Five Boro Bike Tour
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- If you thought hearing "Sweet Caroline" at Yankee Stadium was the last showing of solidarity you'd see between the Big Apple and our rival city Boston – you were wrong.
Bike New York's TD Five Boro Bike Tour is raising money for the One Fund Boston, the charity started to help support victims of the bombings at the Boston Marathon.
Tour riders will have the opportunity to obtain "I Ride for Boston" stickers at Bike Expo New York on May 3-4, 2013 with a suggested contribution of five dollars. All proceeds will go to The One Fund Boston.

"We've received an overwhelming response from our heavy-hearted riders who want to be able to express their solidarity with Boston," said Ken Podziba, president and CEO of Bike New York.
As Mayor Michael Bloomberg put it, New Yorkers know what it's like to be on the wrong side of tragedy.
"New Yorkers will never forget the generous support we've received from around the world during our city's toughest times, and we never hesitate to repay that generosity when the need arises," said New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
