New York Weather: CBS2 5/14 Tuesday Forecast

Expect hit and miss showers this afternoon with the exception of a few areas north and east. And we won't make much progress in the temperature department as we're only expecting to warm into the low 50s.

Showers will linger into tonight before wrapping up late. It will be another cool one, as well, with temps falling into the 40s.

Tomorrow's looking like a decent day with sunshine and closer-to-seasonal highs. There may be a late day shower, but it looks like the bulk of the activity holds off until that night.

As for Thursday, some early showers will give way to partly sunny skies with highs near 70°.
