New York Road Runners Holds Youth Jamboree In Washington Heights
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Road Runners, the group that puts on the marathon and dozens of other races throughout the year, hosted its annual Youth Jamboree Saturday morning in Washington Heights.
Kids from all over took part in the race, which was held at the Armory Track.
Last year, more than 2,500 kids participated in the event. The New York Road Runners Club holds the youth jamboree four times a year.
