New York Road Runners Kicks Off Winter Season With 'Frosty 5K'
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Road Runners kicked off its winter season Saturday with its annual Frosty 5k Run in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
The best part -- it wasn't actually that cold!
About 2,500 adults and 500 youth runners participated.
The race benefits rising New York Road Runners and helps support the group's free, year-round youth and community programs, along with events serving more than 100,000 kids in the city's five boroughs.
