NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- Out with the old and in with the new.
The new Willis Avenue Bridge was open for business at 7 a.m. Saturday after the old span was shut down at 2 a.m.
The new 350-foot and 2,400 ton replacement was built just outside Albany and brought down the Hudson to the Harlem River on a barge.
It connects Willis Avenue in the Bronx and First Avenue in Manhattan.
