New Video Of Suspect Released In Bronx Elevator Assault And Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect wanted in a Bronx robbery and have released new surveillance video in hopes of catching him.
The incident happened on December 20 around 9:30 a.m. in an elevator inside the 57-year-old victim's Morrisania apartment building on Washington Avenue.
Authorities said the suspect exited the elevator one floor before the victim and met her as the elevator reached her floor.
The suspect assaulted the victim and robbed her before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 17 and 20 years old and approximately 5-foot-11 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black Polo jacket, black sweat pants and a black hat with a red stripe.
The newly-released surveillance video was taken about 35 minutes before the incident.
