New Rochelle Set To Welcome Boomer & Carton Celebrity Softball Team
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- The WFAN All-Stars are taking their show on the road.
The "Boomer & Carton" morning show -- with a team of celebrities in tow -- will be holding its third annual softball game Wednesday night at Flowers (City) Park in Craig Carton's hometown of New Rochelle, N.Y.
Admission is free. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Carton will be joined by co-host Boomer Esiason, ex-MLB star Cecil Fielder, former Mets closer John Franco, American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis and a host of other celebrities. On the other side of the diamond will be a "City team" coached by College of New Rochelle athletic director Harold Crocker.
Proceeds from the game, which include a 50-50 raffle, will benefit the New Rochelle Park & Recreation Gift Fund. Click here for more information.
