CBS 2's Cindy Hsu headed to New Rochelle on Thursday, where the kids can't wait for the holiday.
At Bethel Nursery School, the kids are learning all about Chanukah, which marks the Jewish people's struggle for religious freedom.
When asked what is their favorite part of Chanukah, the children were happy to weigh in.
"[Being] together with my family," Nathan Grandwetter said.
To catch much more of the fun the kids had with CBS 2's Cindy Hsu, check out the video:
"'Light the menorah' songs and dreidel games," Benjamin O'Malley said.
A dreidel is a toy spinning top and a menorah holds the candles that are lit for eight nights.
The children got very creative in making their own menorahs. Ryan Leventhal, 2, created one incorporating the Beatles' "Yellow Submarine."
The little ones also shared their favorite Chanukah food.
"Eating jelly donuts," said Sara Spira, who also said she liked potato pancakes.
Chanukah starts at sunset on Saturday and lasts until nightfall on Dec. 16.
