The report was prepared by the Tri-State Transportation Campaign, a non-profit watchdog group.
Topping the list is the Hempstead Turnpike in Nassau County, where there have been 15 deadly accidents involving pedestrians from 2008 to 2010 between Franklin Square and East Meadow.
Also on the list is Broadway in Manhattan where 13 people were killed over the three-year time period. Kings Highway in Brooklyn, Sunrise Highway in Suffolk County and Routes 1 and 9 in Union, New Jersey all tied for sixth place.
Queens Boulevard, known as the "boulevard of death," comes in at number 14.

According to the study, the deadliest roads all have a common thread -- more than two lanes of traffic flowing in each direction and a speed limit of 40 miles per hour or higher.
The study praises progress made, but says it highlights the need for more action by local agencies.
It also criticizes the NYPD for failing to enforce traffic laws and slams New York and New Jersey for slashing state funding to safe streets programs.
