New Jersey Gasoline Prices Stay Stable
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Motorists are seeing stable prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of regular gasoline in the Garden State on Friday was $2.73, which is unchanged from a week ago.
But that's more than a year ago, when New Jersey motorists were paying $2.54.
Meanwhile, the national average price fell 2 cents to $2.81, but that's still 12 cents higher than the beginning of October.
It's also higher than the national average from a year ago, which was $2.69.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says analysts expect gas prices to stay stable for at least the next few weeks.
