New Book Looks At Jean Shepherd's Fictional Military Service
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - There's a new book out about Jean Shepherd, the comic voice of a generation.
Shepherd's nightly radio show became a tradition for many in the 1960s and 1970s.
The book, called "Shep's Army: Bummers, Blisters, & Boondoggles," was edited by Eugene Bergmann.
He sat down with CBS 2's Dick Brennan on Sunday to discuss the book and the Shepherd's legacy.
