Nets' Kris Humphries Engaged To E! Reality Star Kim Kardashian
NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — To quote the video game classic NBA Jam: "He's heating up!"
Another hoops star is set to join the Kardashian clan -- courtesy of the Nets.
People magazine reported Wednesday that reality star Kim Kardashian is engaged to her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey forward Kris Humphries. Sister Khloe Kardashian and Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom were married in 2009.
Kim Kardashian told People that she was in "shock" when she entered her Beverly Hills, Calif., home last week to discover Humphries on bended knee with "will you marry me" spelled out in rose petals.

"I didn't expect this at all," Kardashian told the magazine. "I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."
Humphries, 26, gave Kardashian, 30, a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.
The family stars in the E! reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and spinoffs, including "Khloe and Lamar."
Humphries is slated to become an unrestricted free agent after this season. So, sorry Nets fans, there's no promise that Kardashian will be courtside come September 2012 when the club plays their first game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
