Nassau Co. Cops Investigate Attempted Child Abduction
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Nassau County police are investigating a third attempted child abduction in Elmont.
The latest incident occurred Saturday night on Surprise Street near Hill Avenue where detectives said a man had approached a young teenage boy walking alone on the street.
The man had been driving slowly along, following the boy.
As with the two previous cases, the boy ran away for help.
The attempted lurings have all taken place not far from Carlson Elementary School.
