Murder Suspect Who Escaped Police Custody Found Hiding Under Bed In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have captured the murder suspect who escaped from a Brooklyn station house on Thursday.
Brandon Santana, 24, was being held at the 78th Precinct for murder.
Santana, who was not handcuffed, asked to use the bathroom then overpowered the officer who was escorting him and ran out the front door.
Santana was captured Friday afternoon, found hiding under a bed at a friend's home in the Bronx, CBS 2 reported.
He was initially arrested in 2010 for the murder of Alex Santiago.
