Road To Reopening: Musicians Return To Subway Platforms Across New York City As MTA Music Program Resumes
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- New York City subway platforms are alive with the sound of music.
The popular MTA music program resumed Friday for the first time since the start of the pandemic over a year ago.
More than a dozen musical artists performed at stations across the city.
Before the pandemic, the program featured 350 musical acts that put on thousands of performances annually.
