MTA Kicks Off New Campaign To Make Railroad Crossings Safer
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The MTA is kicking off a new campaign to make railroad crossings safer, WCBS 880's Peter Haskell reported.

"We are committed to reducing collisions, deaths and injuries at grade crossings and near railroad tracks," said President and CEO of the Safety Group Joyce Rose.
MTA Chief Tom Prendergast says one key element is education.
"We must do things like raise public awareness."
