Residents on the Upper East Side are split on whether they believe the MTA report.
"Well, I live across the street and I haven't found any problems," television producer Elice Wolfman told Lamb. "We have to believe what they say."
Seventh floor resident Doloris wasn't so sure.
"I don't believe it. I live right up there and I was confined this past summer with a broken ankle in my apartment and I developed a cough that does not quit," she told Lamb.
She blamed her cough on the construction dust.
