Movie Theater Shooting Sparks Renewed Debate Over Gun Control Laws
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The shooting at the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado has reignited the debate over gun control.
Activist Nico Baker with Cease Fire New Jersey, told WCBS 880 reporter Jim Smith that along with sadness, the shooting has brought on feelings of frustration.

"You don't meet anybody who's in favor of gun violence, and yet for some reason the movement never seems to gain enough momentum to get things done. The NRA is just so powerful," she said.
Baker hopes that the latest incident will finally spark action.
"Really frustrating that common sense gun laws are not being passed," she said.
Baker said that tight restrictions on rapid fire assault weapons can help to prevent mass casualty shootings.
The NRA did not comment on gun policy, they offered their thoughts and prayers to the victims.
