Several Injured After Motorcycle, 3 Buses Crash In Lincoln Tunnel
WEEHAWKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A motorcyclist is in critical condition and several others were injured following an accident involving two NJ Transit buses and a jitney inside the Lincoln Tunnel during the Thursday morning rush.

The center tube of the Manhattan-bound Lincoln Tunnel was closed for hours following the crash, which occurred around 7:25 a.m., while officials investigated the accident.

The accident caused major traffic headaches for commuters and caused additional headaches throughout the mass transit system. An image that appeared on Twitter showed an extremely crowded scene at Seacaucus Junction New Jersey transit station.
EMS officials tell 1010 WINS the motorcyclist is in extremely critical condition at Bellevue Hospital after being pinned under one of the buses.
At least 28 of the bus passengers were being treated after hitting their heads in the crash. EMS said passengers on the jitney sustained the bulk of the injuries. Seven injuries were reported on the NJ Transit buses.
Port Authority spokeswoman Jennifer Friedberg said the crash happened about three-quarters of the way toward Manhattan in the tunnel that connects New Jersey and New York City.
