2 Innocent Bystanders Wounded In Bronx Shooting
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two innocent bystanders were shot and wounded Thursday afternoon in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx.
Around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, shots rang out outside a grocery store at 32 W. Burnside Ave. in the Bronx, police sources told CBS2.
A 67-year-old man was shot in the arm and leg, and a 27-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks, sources said.
Both victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital Bronx, sources said. The man was reported in critical condition, but both victims were expected to survive.
The shooter fled in a Dodge Charger, sources said. No arrests had been made as of late Thursday.
