'I Was One Of The Lucky Ones:' Behind The Camera With Morgan Freeman
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Legendary actor Morgan Freeman is known for his prolific film career in Hollywood.

Now, the Oscar winner is going behind the camera on the hit CBS drama, "Madam Secretary."
CBS2's Mary Calvi sat down with Freeman to learn more about his incredible career, and his new gig.
The superstar with 100 credits to his name said he came from humble beginnings.
"I was nowhere near professional, but I was onstage," Freeman said. "I was 'Little Boy Blue," in one of those pageants. Being onstage and having that sense of 'I belong,' it was everything."
But for Freeman, it wasn't Hollywood he was after, it was Broadway.
"I was dancer in my mind, so it was all about getting to Broadway in a musical. I studied it all -- ballet, jazz -- you have to study ballet, tap and jazz if you're going to be on Broadway," Freeman said.
But Freeman captured the hearts of movie goers with his now-iconic role in the 1989 hit film "Driving Miss Daisy." Then, the hits kept on coming.
Behind the scenes, Freeman is one of the executive producers and has directed premiere episodes of the CBS hit drama "Madam Secretary."
