PATH Service Briefly Suspended Between Newark, WTC During Morning Rush
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Hours after PATH trains resumed Monday, service was briefly suspended between Newark and the World Trade Center during the morning rush.
PATH trains started running Monday at 5 a.m. between Newark, Harrison, Journal Square, Grove Street and Exchange Place in New Jersey and the World Trade Center in New York City.

But by about 8:30 a.m., a power problem caused service to be suspended. It was restored about 90 minutes later.
Weekday PATH trains will now run from at 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. For now, the World Trade Center line will remain closed on weekends as crews continue to clean up.

The Hoboken terminal is still closed after being badly damaged by flooding. There's no word yet when it will be re-opening.
More service has also returned to the Long Island Rail Road. Electric train service on the Long Beach branch has partially restored.
