Montclair St. Dedicates Dorm Named For Sinatra
MONTCLAIR, N.J. (AP/1010 WINS) -- The Chairman of the Board has won another tribute in his home state.
Montclair State University dedicated the Francis A. Sinatra Residence Hall -- a six-story building housing more than 300 students -- on Thursday.

Sinatra, a Hoboken native who died in 1998, won the honor through a campus-wide referendum.
The school's residence halls traditionally are named for famous New Jerseyans.
The crooner's music was broadcast during the ceremony, and those who attended were able to tour an exhibit inside the building focusing on Sinatra's life.
During his career Sinatra won an Oscar, several Grammy awards and was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1985 by President Ronald Reagan.
