Mohegan Sun Set To Unveil New Gigantic Buffet
UNCASVILLE, CT (WCBS 880) - The Mohegan Sun casino resort poured nearly $10 million into renovating their Seasons buffet restaurant.
It's been expanded to 26,000 square feet.
The buffet line itself is 250-feet-long.
Richard Zazzaro, vice president of food and beverage, says that's enough food to serve quite a few customers.

"We have many visitors - on weekends, upwards of 25,000 visitors to the casino property and that produces on a Saturday up to 8,000 buffet meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner combined," says Zazzaro.

Zazzaro says every kind of cuisine imaginable will be served with the emphasis on New England favorites.
"Our customers sort of demanded it. They wanted to see a world class product and we're going to deliver that," he says.
Most of this food will be cooked right at the buffet from breakfast to late late dinners.
The new restaurant opens on Friday.
