Missing Child Alert Issued For 9-Year-Old Brooklyn Girl

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The State of New york has issued a Missing Child Alert for a 9-year-old girl. Evelyn Benitez was least seen around 9 a.m. on Bay Bridge Avenue in Bay Ridge on Saturday.

No suspicious activity is suspected at this time, according to authorities.

Benitez has been described as Hispanic, 5 ft tall, with long black hair, and brown eyes.

She may still be in the Brooklyn area, according to authorities. Anybody with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
