Mild, Foggy Sunday To Give Way To Colder Monday
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Temperatures continued to rise to above average on Sunday but won't stick around much longer.
Tri-State Area residents will be able to get by without the heavy coats at temps hit the 40s and 50s throughout the area.
New York City will see a high of 49 degrees and a low of 42—both above average.
A dense fog advisory is in effect on a mild and damp day, bringing visibility down to less than a mile in many parts.
The cold will arrive overnight as lower temps will come from the Midwest, dropping temps below freezing on Monday and into the week. Clear skies and a light breeze will bring a low of 29 overnight.
