Midtown Subway Push Suspect Due In Court
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The suspect accused of pushing a man in front of a moving Q train is expected to be in court Thursday.
Naeem Davis was arrested in December after police said he pushed Ki-Suck Han, 58, to his death in front of the train at the 49th Street subway station.
Davis is seen on cell phone video arguing with Han just before the incident. Davis, who is homeless, also told police Han was drunk and instigated the confrontation, according to authorities.
After landing on the tracks, Han scrambled to climb back on to the platform, but could not get there in time. Police said Davis watched the train strike Han before leaving the station.
Davis has pleaded not guilty to murder and manslaughter charges.
