Mets Sign Aaron Harang, Assign Veteran Starter To Triple-A
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York Mets signed veteran starter Aaron Harang late Sunday night. He was immediately assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas.
The 35-year-old made 22 starts for the Seattle Mariners in 2013. He's posted a 5-11 record for Seattle with an ERA of 5.76 and struck out 87 batters. He was released by the Mariners on September 1.
Harang is a career 110-115 pitcher with a 4.29 career ERA.
