Mets Reach Agreement With Reliever Brandon Lyon
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Mets have added another piece to their bullpen.
The team has reached an agreement with right-handed reliever Brandon Lyon, according to WFAN/CBSSports.com baseball insider Jon Heyman.
The deal -- pending a physical -- is for one year, Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reported.

Lyon went 4-2 with a 3.10 ERA in 67 appearances last season for the Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays. The 33-year-old has a career record of 40-45 with a 4.12 ERA.
The Mets signed veteran relievers LaTroy Hawkins and Scott Atchison to minor league deals last week.
