Mets' Johan Santana To Count Down 'Letterman' Top Ten Monday
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- On Friday night, Mets fans everywhere were counting down the outs as Johan Santana inched closer toward completing the first no-hitter in team history.
He'll get to return the favor Monday on the "Late Show with David Letterman."
That's right, Santana will present the show's iconic Top Ten.
Fresh off his celebrated no-no, the 33-year-old ace will appear via satellite from Citi Field, where the Amazin's are going for a four-game sweep Monday afternoon against St. Louis.
Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, comedian Joan Rivers and musical guests Silversun Pickups are also scheduled for Monday's "Late Show."
Giants quarterback Eli Manning appeared on "Letterman" in February, just one day after winning his second-career Super Bowl MVP award in Super Bowl XLVI.
