Metro-North Worker Will Pepe Fired After Allegedly Taking Part In U.S. Capitol Riot
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Metro-North worker accused of taking part in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol has been fired.
Will Pepe was arrested in February and appeared in federal court in White Plains.
Pepe allegedly called in sick on the day of the riots. The FBI says a picture posted on social media shows him inside the Capitol.
Metro-North says he was terminated for conduct unbecoming an employee and time sheet fraud.
