Mega Millions Ticket Worth $65.7M Sold At Orange, NJ Deli
TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- New Jersey lottery officials said a Mega Millions ticket worth $65.7 million was sold at a deli in northern New Jersey.
Carole Hedinger, the lottery's executive director, said the sole winning ticket for Friday's drawing was sold at Lisa's Angel Corp. in Orange.
The overall jackpot was $89 million, but the purchaser gets less because they chose the cash option in matching five numbers and the Mega Ball.
The winning numbers drawn were 11, 12, 17, 31 and 48. The Mega Ball number was 1.
Besides the big winner, lottery officials said three other tickets sold in New Jersey matched four numbers and the Mega Ball. Those tickets are worth $10,000 each.
Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is $12 million.
