Maryland Man Struck, Killed By Cab In Hudson Square
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A Maryland man was killed by a taxi in Hudson Square on Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Dan Fellegara, 29, was trying to cross Sixth Avenue at the intersection with Watts Street, shortly after 4:30 a.m., when he fell down and was hit by the cab.
Fellegara was rushed to New York Downtown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The taxi remained on scene and there was no indication of criminality, according to police.
