Marshall: Sunny Sunday, But Chilly
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- The tri-state region can look forward to a sunny football Sunday, but the temperature may keep people inside as it hovers around 40 degrees throughout the day.
Plenty of cold air will circulate into the area from the north keeping the high at just around 46 degrees and a low at 35 degrees, CBS 2's John Marshall reports.
Many areas outside of New York City are below freezing as the sun rises and warms the area up.
As the New York Jets host the Houston Texans, the temperature should peak at 45.
As Americans look to the holiday week, temperatures should warm up early in the week with a high of 58 on Monday and a high of 61 on Tuesday. But be weary, there could be some late showers on Wednesday and Thursday.
