Mark Sanchez, Brian Billick Talk Jets On The FAN
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Quarterback Mark Sanchez joined Boomer & Carton Wednesday to talk about his stellar season with the 8-2 Jets.
Sanchez was apologetic for calling in during ex-NFL head coach Brian Billick's interview:
"Man, I don't want to interrupt his interview," Sanchez said. "I'm sorry, coach!"
On his 50-yard 'airplane' celebration after taking down the Houston Texans last Sunday:
"I had a lot of gas in the tank. The airplane was full and ready to go, I was excited."
On the Jets' new offensive play-makers:
"It's great that Mike T. and Rex and Mr. Johnson went out and got all these players for us," said Sanchez. "It's been great getting comfortable with Braylon, trying to get comfortable with Santonio, and then LT has just been that security blanket for me."
