Mark Sanchez Again Welcomes Teammates At 'Jets West' Camp
NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — Mark Sanchez and his Jets teammates are going camping again.
The third-year quarterback is holding his "Jets West" camp, which started Monday, at Mission Viejo High School in Southern California for the second straight offseason.
The camp gives Sanchez and offensive skill players such as running back LaDainian Tomlinson, tight end Dustin Keller and wide receiver Braylon Edwards an opportunity to practice together during the lockout.
"We're kind of ready for any scenario," Keller said. "But it's important to get out there with Mark and the guys, be together to work on things and just kind of get a feel for everything we need to be doing."
Sanchez also ran the week-long camp last July, complete with handmade T-shirts, at his former high school. Many players credited it for improving their on-field rapport.
Sanchez is posting pictures on Twitter of attendees, including backup quarterbacks Mark Brunell and Kevin O'Connell.
