Mario Manningham: Giants Receivers Great, But Work Not Done Yet
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- "Oh man!"

Giants fans will boast that it doesn't get much better than that. According to Manningham, New York's Super Bowl-bound receivers know it, too.
"We know it but, you know, we want to still show it," Manningham told WFAN's Boomer Esiason and Craig Carton Thursday. "We stay grounded. We know how we are but we still got work to do."

They sure do. The New England Patriots will be out for revenge next Sunday in Super Bowl XLVI.
For any other trio, spreading the load might lead to personnel trouble and fractured egos.
Not so in East Rutherford. It's team first in Tom Coughlin's locker room.
"It's not like that with us," Manningham said. "What wide receivers don't want the ball when it's crunch time? Plenty to go around for us. When it comes your way you've gotta make a play, that's all."
Manningham said he's had "about 30" ticket requests from friends and family for the big game in Indianapolis. Eli Manning told his team this week to put those pre-game distractions aside, and Manningham plans on doing just that.
After all, the Giants have a game plan to build -- and the Patriots have one glaring weakness for Manningham & Co. to exploit.
Carton asked: "It's gotta be their secondary, right?"
"Yeah," Manningham said with a chuckle. "Yeah, man."
For those unfamiliar with the finer points of Manningham, he listens to Young Jeezy before every game. If he had only one movie to re-watch, it would be "Life" with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. And he's not secretly in love with Rachael Ray.
One "Getting To Know You" question really stumped the wide receiver. If Manningham had to spend one year on a desert island with a single companion, who would it be: Coughlin or Oprah Winfrey?
After two agonizing minutes, he finally had an answer.
"I want to say Oprah, man!"
Don't take it personally, coach. No extra laps. The Giants need Manningham fresh for Feb. 5.
