Manhattan Man Files Lawsuit Against City, Others For $2 Undecillion
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- This may just be the biggest lawsuit of all time.
Anton Purisima, 62, filed a lawsuit last month in Manhattan for $2 undecillion. That's the number 2 followed by 36 zeros -- otherwise known as more money than there is on Earth.
The suit involves a series of events, including allegedly being bitten by a rabid dog on a city bus and a couple taking unauthorized photos of him while being treated at a local hospital.
In addition to suing the city and the MTA, Purisima is also suing two New York hospitals, Kmart, LaGuardia Airport, a bakery and even the dog's owner, according to published reports.
The federal lawsuit claims the pain and damages he suffered can't be measured in money and are therefore "priceless."
According to published reports, Purisima has filed other lawsuits in the past against several major banks, including Wells Fargo, JP Morgan and Wachovia, as well as the People's Republic of China.
