Police Arrest Man Who Fondled Himself On No. 2 Train For 30 Minutes
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police have arrested a man they said masturbated for more than 30 minutes on a Manhattan-bound No. 2 train over the weekend.
Michael Pope, 19, was arrested on Wednesday, police said.
Authorities said Pope, who has a bold "Team USA" tattoo on the right side of his forehead, boarded the 2 train at the President Street Station in Brooklyn around 4 p.m. on Sunday.
After boarding the train, police said Pope put his hand down his pants and appeared to be touching his penis while looking at a 29-year-old female victim.
Pope, of Manhattan, continued to fondle himself for about a half-hour while another straphanger took his photo, according to the NYPD.
Pope is charged with public lewdness.
