Man Stabbed Following Quarrel On Subway In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was in serious condition Wednesday night, after he was stabbed following a quarrel on the subway in Brooklyn.
The 26-year-old man got into a quarrel with a man, also in his 20s, on the C Train at Rockaway Avenue around 6:50 p.m., police said.
The victim later switched to the L Train, and when he got off at the Livonia Avenue stop in East New York, he felt a sharp pain in his side and noticed he had been stabbed police said.
The man was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was reported in serious condition.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority suspended some service on the C and L trains, as well as several Long Island Rail Road lines, while police looked for the suspect.
Service had been resumed as of late Wednesday, but there was no one in custody.
