Man Shot Dead In Coney Island Public Housing Building
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Monday were investigating the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in the Coney Island Houses public housing development.
Around 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Travis Powell was found with gunshot wounds in the public housing high-rise at 2926 W. 25th St. in Brooklyn.
He had been shot once in the head and twice in the torso.
Powell was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police have not released information on a motive or a possible shooter.
