Man Robs Bank In Fort Greene, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Tuesday were searching for a suspect who robbed a bank in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, making off with an unspecified sum of money.
Around 11:15 a.m., the robber held up the Carver Savings Bank at 4 Hanson Pl., police said.
The suspect passed a demand note and fled with an undetermined amount of money.
Police did not specify the contents of the note or mention whether the suspect implied that he had a weapon. It was not immediately learned whether a dye pack was included with the money.
The robber is described only as a white male between the ages of 30 and 35. Police have released a surveillance photo.
