Gary Wilson Pleads Guilty In Killing Of Carolyn Stone At Memorial Day Party
SOMERVILLE, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- One of three men charged with killing a New Jersey woman at a Memorial Day party has admitted dropping a cinder block on her head twice.
Gary Wilson pleaded guilty Wednesday to killing Carolyn Stone of Bridgewater in 2009. Under terms of the plea deal, the 28-year-old agreed to testify against the other defendants.
Wilson could face 45 years in prison when he's sentenced in September.
Rocky DiTaranto and David Granskie Jr. face murder and sexual assault charges stemming from the slaying in the backyard of the home Stone shared with Granskie's father.
The Courier News of Bridgewater reports Wilson testified the men and Stone had been drinking and taking drugs. He said he dropped the block on Stone's head to keep the 45-year-old quiet about having sex with DiTaranto.
