Man Killed In Dirt Bike Accident Outside Kings County Hospital
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was killed late Sunday in an accident in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, right outside Kings County Hospital Center.
Paul Carthy, 24, was riding a Kawasaki dirt bike east on Clarkson Avenue at East 38th Street, when he slammed into a Nissan Altima traveling in the same direction around 11:10 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Carthy, of 2124 Union St. in Brooklyn, was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The dirt bike was unregistered, police said.
Police did not indicate whether the driver of the Altima was injured.
Kings County Hospital is located right on the very block where the accident happened.
